Terminal manager (Vilnius)

Essential functions

• Manage regional terminal team of 100+ couriers and 6 logistic operations planners
• Maintain and optimize daily operations with the best team and infrastructure efficiency possible
• Transform the predefined strategy to operational and logistic purposes
• Plan and implement a continuous improvement of both operations and terminal team efficiency
• Supervise employee recruitment and training process to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Track and improve KPIs system for the management of the terminal activities
• Plan possible optimization(s) of the logistic processes and infrastructure
• Act as a Business Process Owner during the onboarding of the new customers and implementation of the Venipak warehouse logistics process and management systems
• Manage the relationships with shipping companies and vendors

Skill & traits

• 3+ year of experience as logistics terminal, courier network or 3PL warehouse manager
• Able to manage a local team and ensure daily logistics operations
• Good communication skills at different levels both inside and outside the organization
• Analytically strong mindset, capable of making decisions based on operations data of different type and source
• Accurate and have a good understanding of business and logistics processes
• Goal orientated motivation, organizational skills, flexibility and attention to safety and quality
• Able to implement new processes and have an experience with ERP and warehouse management tools
